My Review


Young Eagle Rising is an extremely astonishing book full of historical events.


When William Baxter and his family cross the Atlantic to the land across Ireland, many adventures await. They sail across to the New World where William is drenched with sadness about how he is no longer with his peculiar spell-bound grandmother. However, Pennsylvania proves to be a struggle with native tribes, slavery and many vicious animals. 
Throughout the book, the author displays an incredible storyline of what becomes a spectacular journey. I particularly enjoyed reading this story because it was an interesting insight into the past.


This book is ambitious and bold with its eye-catching front cover. There are some proper traditional phrases like ‘Cease yer racket’ or ‘Yer a fibbing wee brat!’ which give an authentic Irish feel. I would love to recommend this book to anyone who loves action full adventures!
